This way if you are not convinced with the photographer that the wedding coordinator is proposing, you can hire another photographer. But they are usually cheaper than a photographer in the United States specially since you will have to pay for traveling expenses.

Another nice plus of having a wedding in Cancun is that you can have a nice trip to a beautiful location and you will have the perfect reason to return for your 5th, 10th, and 25th wedding anniversary. The weather is beautiful, there are some great locations for your wedding, there are tons of tours for you and your guests. I've lived in Cancun for a while and I still love the place.
